On December 13, 2013; Vijaya Varusha Karthigai Ashwini, being Kaisika Ekadasi, Namperumal at Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam. In the morning at 10 am, Namperumal had purappadu from Moolasthanam to Santanu Mandapam. Thirumanjanam was performed for Namperumal at this Mandapam from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. With all the alankarams, Perumal came back to the Moolasthanam at around 5:45 pm. Then, the second purappadu took place at 8:30 pm from Moolasthanam to Arjuna Mandapam. Here, between 9:30 pm and 11:30 pm, 365 vastrams were offered to Namperumal and Araiyar sevai took place. This was followed by Kaisika Purana Patanam by the Bhattar until 2 am. Perumal started from Arjuna Mandapam early in the morning at around 5:15 am to reach Moolasthanam by 6 am. Several devoteees participated in the utsavam through the day and night and received the blessings of Namperumal.
