Today 28 December 2013; Vijaya Varusham Margazhi Swathi and Ekadasi, Thiruveedhi purappadu for Perumal with his concerts took place in grand manner at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Sannadhi, Navalpakkam. Lot of Astikas took part in Perumal Purappadu and had the blessing of thayar and Perumal. Navalpakkam has given lot of Srivaishnava Ubhaya Vedanta Stalwarts. Thanks for the photos. I know that this village has given birth to great scholars and many stalwarts in Nyaya, Vyakarana,Meemaamsa in adition to poorna adhyayanam of vedhams. Many aacharyas have done kaalakshepams under starlwarts AAcharyas at Navalpakkam. In my opinion both Kancheepuram Perarulaalan & NavalpaKkam Srinivasar have heard so much of Veda parayanams recitations than any other temples. It is treat to ears that one should listen to Veda Sattrumurai on the eve of Irappathu Utsavam at Navalpakkam. At calm atmoshpere,around midnight 11.30pm, listening to the corus Veda Strumurai at Navalpakkam temple is real treat. One should be really blessed to take part on this occasion. If time permits, please take part on this occassion this year.
