Today, January 1; Vijaya Varusha Margazhi Moolam, Thiruadhyayana Utsavam commenced with Pagal Pathu at Sri Amaruviappan Perumal Temple, Therazhundur. Thirumanjanam was performed for Perumal, Ubhaya Nachiyars, Thayar and Azhwars in the morning and in the evening, purappadu took place for Sri Amaruviappan Perumal.
On the occasion of Hanumath Jayanthi, Thirumanjanam and alankaram for Sri Anjaneyar took place well today. Anjaneyar (moolavar) gave Vennai Kappu sevai to bhaktas and vada malai was adorned by the utsavar. Several devotees participated in the utsavam and received the blessings of the Divya Dampathis, Azhwars and Sri Anjaneyar.
