As part of the ongoing Vijaya varusha Thai Brahmotsavam at Sri Saranayaki sametha Sri Saranatha Perumal Temple, Thirucherai , On 13 January 2014, is the day 5 of Brahmotsavam, Perumal purappadu happens on Hanumantha vahanam. On 14 January 2014, Thirukalyana utsavam took place in grand manner, Perumal Purappadu on Yaanai vahanam. Lot of astikas took part in the 5th and 6th day of Brahmotsavam and had blessings of Thayar and Perumal
