Today, January 19, 2014; Vijaya Varusha Thai Maham, Thirunakshatram of Thirumazhisai Azhwar was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam (SVDD), Mylapore, Chennai. Purappadu took place for Perumal along with Ubhaya Nachiyars and Azhwar. Several devotees participated in the utsavam and recieved the blessings of the Azhwar and Perumal.
