In thirunagari (thirunAngUr dhivya dhEsam) where seer Kaliyan’s most beautiful archA thirumEni (vigraham) is present, new chariots are being built for emperumAn and kaliyan. Both the chariots will be run together during Panguni uthsavam on Panguni Uthram (13-Apr-2014)!
T.T.S.V.M. Thiruther Nirmanam Trust, managed by STMEC Trust have estimated that it will cost Rupees Fifty Four Lakh Twenty Two Thousand Five hundred only (Rs.54,22,500.00 /-) to build the two new chariots. We have collected up to half of the project cost and require further around Rs. 27 lakhs.
The trust proposes that if 2300 people contribute a minimum of Rs. 1,137.00 (exact number of pAsurams sung by thirumangai AzhwAr!), the target can be easily met, and the chariots can be fully built. Also if many of the adiyArs would contribute minimum of Rs. 5000/- each, then it would be possible to reach the goal faster and complete the work with confidence.
The construction of the chariots have progressed at a good pace, and your contributions would ensure timely completion of the chariots for emprumAn and AzhvAr.
