Today January 31, 2014, Vijaya Varusha Thai Thiruvonam, being a Thai vellikizhamai (Friday), Thirumanjanam and purappadu took place for Sri Abhishekavalli Thayar at Sri Bakthavatsala Perumal Temple, Thirukannamangai. In the morning, special Thirumanjanam happens for Sri Abhishekavalli Thayar. In the evening, Thayar purappadu took place inside the Ul Prakaram followed by oonjal sevai. Several astikas had darshan of Thayar and Perumal.
