Yesterday, 5 March 2014, Vijaya Masi Ashwini; is Day-2 of Tirupallioda Tirunal. In the evening NamPerumal mounted the Hanumanth Vahanam to bless devotees. He was in RangaVilas Asthanamandapam from 7.30a.m. after doing the rounds of Utthira veedis in palanquin .Evening from 6.00p.m. itself devotees could be seen infront of Rangavilas mandapam waiting for the curtains to be opened. Andal the temple elephant was waiting at the Tiruvehndikaapu mandapam and Hari the temple horse was waiting near the Ranga vilas shops. At 6.30 p.m. NamPerumal emerged on golden Hanumantha vahanam dressed in white silk with green zaribordered dhothi reaching upto His Tiruvadis then above could be seen a dark green silk with red border.
Hanuman clad in pink silk vastram with green temple border was kind of kneeling with stretched palms holding silk cushions for NamPerumal’s Tiruvadis. Both Master and devotee wore equally beautiful garlands. Coming to Pin Azhaghu or Beauty of the Back NamPerumal had a shield and a green velvet case holding a bow. Siriya Tiruvadi’s right foot was held up and the tail was decorated with flowers.Hanuman’s Tirumukhamandalam was a beautiful red and with head tilted. Siriya Tiruvadi the epitome of dasathvam was a picture of Vinayam (humility). After blessing the young, the old, the infirm and the able gathered on the four Utthira Veedhis NamPerumal on Hanumantha vahanam returned to vahana mandapam by 7.45p.m. Offerings were made to NamPerumal, Maryadhai was offered to Maniyakar and others. From here NamPerumal reaches Moolasthanam by 9.15p.m.
