On 16 March 2014, Thirukalyana Utsavam took place in grand manner at Sri Prasanna Varadharaja Perumal Thirukoil,Aminjikarai, Chennai. In the morning Perumal and Thayar Purappadu happens inside the Ul prakaram of the temple, Later lot of devotees witnessed Thirukalyanam . Lot of Astikas took part in thirukalyana utsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.

அடியேனுடைய பிரார்த்தனையை முன்னிட்டு எம்பெருமான், தாயாருடன் எழுந்தருளி அனுக்ரஹம் செய்து நடத்திக்கொண்ட திருக்கல்யாணம். திருக்கல்யாணத்தை சிறப்புற செய்து வைத்தவர் ஸ்ரீமான் கூரம் கிடாம்பி வரதராஜன் ஐயங்கார். திருக்கோயில் பட்டாச்சார்யர்களான ஸ்ரீமான் கஸ்தூரி ஐயங்கார், ஸ்ரீமான் பார்த்தசாரதி ஐயங்கார், ஸ்ரீமான் ரகுராமன் ஐயங்கார், ஸ்ரீமான் சுந்தரராஜ ஐயங்கார், ஸ்ரீமான் ராமன் ஐயங்கார் ஆகியோர் உடனிருந்து இத்திருக்கல்யாணத்தை நடத்தி வைத்து சிறப்பித்தனர்.
