On 17 March 2014, Vijaya Varusha Panguni Uthiram; Thayar Purappadu happens in grand manner at Mylapore Sri Srinivasa Perumal Sannidhi, Sri Vedanta Desikar Devasthanam, Mylapore Chennai. This Year the Uthiram comes twice in Month of panguni. As of first Panguni uthiram Thayar purappadu happens in the evening. Lot of astikas took part in the Purappadu and had the blessings of Thayar and Perumal.
