As part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam at Sri Soundararaja Perumal Kovil, Nagapattinam, Thiruveedhi purappadu for Perumal in various beautiful alankarams took place in the morning and evening everyday. On April 8th 2014, during day 4 of the utsavam, Perumal purappadu took place around maada streets, followed by laksharachnai for moolavar and thiruvadi thiruvadi thirumanjanam for urchavar. In the evening perumal blessed the devotees from Gauran vahanam during day 4 and in Hanumantha vahanam during day 5 of the utsavam. The utsavam commenced in a grand manner on April 5, 2013 and will carry on until April 14, 2014. Several bhaktas participated in the utsavam and received the blessings of Thayar and Perumal.
நான்காம் திருநாள் April 8th 2014, காலை பல்லக்கில் பெருமாள் மாடவீதிகளுக்கு எழுந்தருளினார். மதியம் மூலவருக்கு லட்சார்ச்சனையும்,உற்சவருக்கு திருவடி திருமஞ்சனமும் நடைபெற்றது. மாலை, பெருமாள் வெள்ளி கருட வாஹனத்தில், பாண்டியன் கொண்டை அணிந்து மடவீதிகளுக்கு எழுந்தருளினார்.
ஐந்தாம் திருநாள் April 9th 2014, காலை பல்லக்கில் பெருமாள் மாடவீதிகளுக்கு எழுந்தருளினார். மதியம் மூலவருக்கு லட்சார்ச்சனையும்,உற்சவருக்கு திருவடி திருமஞ்சனமும் நடைபெற்றது. மாலை, பெருமாள் தங்க ஹனுமந்த வாஹனத்தில், ஸ்வர்ண கிரீடம் அணிந்து மடவீதிகளுக்கு எழுந்தருளினார்.
