On 13 April 2014,Vijaya Varusham Panguni Uthiram,Perumal and Thayar Purappadu happened in grand manner at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Sri Vedanta Desikar Devasathanam, Mylapore ,Chennai. Later in the evening after Thiruveedhi Purappadu of Perumal with HIS consorts, Maalai maatral ceremony between Perumal and Thayar happened followed by Ul purappadu of Sri Srinivasa Perumal and Sri Alarmelmanka thayar in a grand manner. After the ul purappadu Perumal and Thayar proceeded for the oonjal sevai after which thirumangalayadhanam took place. Lot of astikas had darshan during the Purappadu and all other events and had the blessings of divyadampatis.
