On 30 April 2014, Jaya Chitrai Ashwini; NamPerumal left Moolasthanam in purappadu at 9.15 a.m. and reached Garuda mandapam at 9.45 a.m. Between 11.00 a.m.-1.00p.m. Tirumanjanam was performed.Devotees had the saubhaghyam of worshipping NamPerumal at close quarters and offer their patram-pushpam,phalam at Garuda mandapam.From about 4.00 p.m.-5.30 p.m.devotees got Theeertham and SriSathari . At 7.00 p.m. NamPerumal left in purappadu and reached vahana mandapam by 7.30 p.m.The Aallum(Aadum) Pallaku was waiting for Nam Perumal to ascend. The palanquin was a beauty to behold. Jasmines formed a network interspersed with the red vrikshi flowers with the blue yellow and green intermingling . Pink lotuses formed a toranam and sunflower kind windmills were at the topmost layer. Inside this riot of flowers stood RangaRaja right in the middle of the pallaku on a cushion of silk wearing matchless ornaments. As the pallaku moved along the Chitra Veedhis people gathered at the crossroads and outside their houses to have darshan of Their Darling who came to bless at their very doorsteps.When NamPerumal returned to Moolasthanam it was 9.45 p.m.
