Smt Jayanthi Sridharan is scheduled to present a concert/kutcheri on Sri Krishna Jananam on Akshaya Trithiya, May 2, 2014, at NKT Muthu hall, No. 4, TP Koil Second Lane, Triplicane, Chennai in the evening at 6 pm.
This concert will cover Sri Krishna Jananam from Dasamaskandam of Srimad Bhagavatham. The concert will have slokams from Bhagavatham followed by compositions of great masters like Thyagaraja, Dikshidhar,Narayanatheerthar, Purandaradasar and songs from divyaprabandam, soordas and meera bai’s bhajans.
The next concerts will be on Krishna leela followed by Gopika geetham and Raas leela. Srimad bhagavatham series will be followed by Bhagavad geetha series.Bhakthas and music lovers are welcome.
