The 90th Thiruavathara Utsavam at Srinivasa Perumal Sannadhi (SVDD), Mylapore, Chennai, is being celebrated in a grand manner since May 9, 2014. Today is the second day of the utsavam. The 3-day utsavam will conclude tomorrow (May 11, 2014). In the morning, Veda Parayanam and Divya Prabhandam commenced and the Satrumurai will take place at around 11 am. In the evening, Thirukalyana Utsavam will take place at 5 pm followed by Veda Parayanam and Divya Prabhandam at 7 pm and Satrumurai at 9:30 pm.
