Yesterday, June 1st ,2014, Jaya Vaikasi Punarpoosam, is the day 2 of Vaikasi Brahmotsavam at Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam Sri Alarmelmanga sametha Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Mylapore, Chennai. In the evening pathi Ulathal and Perumal Purappadu on Surya Prabai purapadu took place at the maada veedhi of Mylapore.. Lots of astikas was present for the entire event and received Perumal’s kadaksham.
