The ongoing 5-day annual Theppotsavam at Sri Padmavathi Temple, Thiruchanoor concluded on June 12, 2014 (Jaya Varusha Vaikasi Anusham). On this day, Sri Padmavathi Thayar had purappadu till the Purshkarni (Padmasarovaram) where the Theppotsavam took place in a grand manner. Thayar had purappadu on Garuda Vahanam in the evening. On the previous day, being Day 4 of the utsavam, Sri Padmavathi Thayar had purappadu on Gaja Vahanam. On the first two days, Thayar gave darsanam as Sri Krishna and Sri Sundara Raja Swamy respectively. On the remaining days, Thayar gave darsanam in Her beautiful swaroopam.

Several hundreds of devotees witnessed the utsavam from the steps of the temple tank. The asthana vidwans played the nadaswaram and the temple archakas recited the Vedas.
