On June 11, 2014; Jaya Varusha Vaikasi Visakam, Namazhwar Thirunakshatram was celebrated in a grand manner at MGR Nagar Sri Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal Temple. In the evening, there was purappadu for Swami Namazhwar and Sri Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal alongwith Ubhaya Nachiyars. Devotees in the are enthusiastically participated in the utsavam to receive the blessings of Azhwar and the Divya Dampathis.
