On June 26, 2014; Jaya Varusha Aani Mrigaseersham, the ongoing Brahmotsavam at Sri Venkatesa Perumal Temple, Perambur, concluded with Dwajavarohanam in the evening. In the morning, Pushpa Yagam took place. On the previous day evening (Day 9), Perumal had purappdu in Punyakoti Vimanam.
The utsavam commenced on June 17, 2014 with Dwajarohanam. In the evening, Perumal purappadu took place on Simha Vahanam. On the previous day (June 16, 2014), Mrithsangrahanam, Ankurarpanam, Garuda prathishtai and Veda-Prabhanda Thodakkam took place. On Day 3 (June 19, 2014), Garuda Sevai took place grandly. On Day 5, Perumal had purappadu in Mohini Alankaram in the morning and Gaja Vahanam in the evening. On Day 7, Thiruther Utsavam took place grandly in the morning. On Day 8 (June 24, 2014), Kudhirai Vahana purappadu took place in the evening and Thotti Thirumanjanam during the day. On Day 9, Mattaiadi utsavam took place well.
Several devotees participated are participating in the utsavam to receive the blessings of Thayar and Perumal.
