On July 22, 2014; Jaya Varusha Aadi Bharani , Sri Andal Thiruvadipooram Brahmotsavam commenced in grand manner at Sri Soundararaja Perumal Temple, Nagapattinam. In the Early morning Brahmotsavam started with Dvajarohanam ( Flag hoisting) and on continuation to that around 10.00 a.m Thirumanjanam for Moolavar Sri Andal was conducted. In the evening at 6.00 p.m Sri Andal on Velli Surya prabhai thiruveedhi Purappadu took place in the maada veedhis of Nagapattinam. Several Astikas participated in the day 1 of Sri Andal Thiruvadipooram Brahmotsavam and received the blessings of the Divya Dampathis.
நாகை ஸ்ரீ சௌந்தர்ராஜப்பெருமாள் சந்நிதியில் தனிக்கோயில் நாச்சியாராக எழுந்தருளி இருக்கும் ஸ்ரீ ஆண்டாளுக்கு ஆடி மாதம் 6 ஆம் நாள்(22.07.2014) காலை த்வஜாரோகனதுடன் ஆடி மாத பிரம்மோத்சவம் துவங்கியது (இந்த க்ஷேத்ரத்தில் ஸ்ரீ ஆண்டாளுக்கு த்வஜாரோகனதுடன் கூடிய பிரம்மோத்சவம் என்பது தனிச்சிறப்பு). அதன் தொடர்ச்சியாக, காலை 10.00 மணிக்கு மூலவர் ஆண்டாள் திருமஞ்சனம் நடைபெற்றது. மாலை 6.00 மணிக்கு ஸ்ரீ ஆண்டாள் வெள்ளி சூர்யப்ரபை வாஹனத்தில் மாடவீதிகளுக்கு எழுந்தருளி சேவை சாதித்தார்.
