The Annual Pavithrotsavam is scheduled to be celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Venkatachalapathi Temple . The Pavithrotsavam will take place for 3 days from 5th September to 7th September 2014. Everday homam will be conducted in both morning and evening and mahapoornahuthi will take place on 7th September 2014. Karungulam is also knows as Vagulagiri Kshetram. Vagulagiri is a small hill situated on the southern bank of river Thamparapani. After the bifurcation of Thirunveli District this Village has come under the jurisdiction of Tuticorin District Vagulagiri is situated on the way from Tirunelveli to Tiruchendur by the banks of the river Tamirabharani. All astikas are invited to attend the Pavithrotsavam and get the blessings of Divya Dampathis.
