On 5 August 2014, Jaya Varusham Aadi Pooradam/Uthiradam; ThiruPavithrothsavam commenced in a grand manner at Vanamamalai Sri Deivanayaga Perumal Temple. On being day-1 in the Morning Serthi took for Srivaramangai Thayar , Sri Deivanayaga Perumal ,Sri Andal after that Sayana Sevai took place Thayar Madil Perumal along with Ubhya Nachiyars and Andal took place in grand manner And in the afternoon Pavithra malai Satruthal took place.In the evening Thiruveethi Purappadu took place homam took place with grand Arulicheyal and Veda ghosti.On August 4th Prior to the ThiruPavithrotsavam Ankurarpanam took place. Lot of Astikas took part in the ThiruPavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Swami Koorthazhwan & Divyadampatis.
