The annual Pavithrotsavam commences in grand manner at Sri Veeraraghava Perumal divya desam,Thiruvallur.Prior to the pavithrotsavam Angurarpanam and adhivasam, mandala Pradhishtai took place on 6th & 7th September 2014. The Pavithrotsavam commenced on 8th september with Pavithram sathudal followed by Homam in morning and evening. In the evening Perumal Purappadu took place in the streets of Thiruvallaur .The pavithrotsavam will be conducted until September 14th 2014. Lot of astikas took part in the day 1 of Pavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis
