On, 16 September 2014, Jaya Varusha Avani Mirughashirsham; Sri Jayanthi Utsavam is celebrated in grand manner at Sri Haritha Varana Perumal Temple Nazarath pettai . On this occasion in the evening the Sri Kannan had thirumanjanam and satrumurai sevakalam took place in the temple.Lot of astikas took part in the Sri Jayanthi Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Kannan.
