On, 24 September 2014, Jaya Varusha Purattasi Uthiram,Swami Desikan Varshika Thirunakshatra Mahotsavam Commenced in a grand manner at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple SVDD . On this occasion in the, evening Swami Desikan had Ul Purappadu from molasthanam to the Kannadi arai with grand arulicheyal and veda ghosti followed by asthanam satrumurai sevakalam took place in the Swami Desikan Kannadi arai .Several Astikas took part in the Swami Desikan Varshika Thirunakshatra Mahotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
