Today, 25 September 2014, Jaya Varusha Purattasi Hastam, Navarathri Utsavam Commenced in a grand manner at Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple Thiruvallur . On this occasion being day-1 , evening Sri Veeraraghava Perumal and Sri Kankavalli Thayar had Ul Purappadu and Oonjal Sevai followed by asthanam satrumurai sevakalam along with Swami Desikan and Srimath Adhivan Satakopa Yathindra Maha Desikan took place in the temple.Several Astikas took part in the Navarathiri Utsavam Day-1 and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
