On, 25 September 2014, Jaya Varusha Purattasi Hastham, Navarathri Utsavam Commenced in a grand manner at Thiruchanoor Sri Padmavathi Thayar temple. On this occasion being day-1 , in the evening Sri Padmavathi Thayar Oonjal sevai took place followed by asthanam and then Satrumurai sevakalam took place .Several Astikas took part in the Navarathiri Utsavam Day-1 and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
