Srirangam Ahobila Mutt Srimad Adhivan Satakopan Thirunakshata Mahotsavam

Srimad Sri Adhivan Satakopa Yathindra Mahadesikan 635th Thirunakshtram was celebrated in a grand manner  at  Sri Ahobila Mutt (Near Vellai Gopuram), Srirangam, on September 30 ,2014 (Purattasi Kettai). The Acharyan had purappadu around the Uttara Veedhis, Dasavathara Sannidhi and Poundarikapuram Ashramam.

This is part of the 10 day utsavam that commenced on September 24, 2014. Nalayira Divya Prabhanda and Veda Parayanam is taking place as part of the Mahotsavam. On the first two days (September 24 and 25), Mudalayiram was recited followed by Periya Thirumozhi on the following 3 days (September 26 to 28). On the fifth day, Thiruvaimozhi was also recited. Several sishyas and astikas are taking part in the sevakalam to have the blessings of Perumal and Acharya. Iyarpa Satrumurai will take place on October 1, 2014. Thereafter, there will be Vidayatri Utsavam between October 2 to 5, 2014 with Alum Pallakku taking place on October 5, 2014.
