On, 01 October 2014, Jaya Varusha Purattasi Moolam, being Day 7 of Swami Desikan Varshika Thirunakshatra Mahotsavam at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple SVDD , Swami Desikan & Hayagreevan had Thirumanjanam in the Vahana Mandappam. Later Swami Desikan aorned the reciting Sathupadi that symbolises the gift of Lord Hayagreeva to Swami Desikan for his astounding knowledge .Several Astikas took part in the Swami Desikan Varshika Thirunakshatra Mahotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis
