Velamur Upanishad Bhasyakaarar Thiruvamsathar Sabhai has planned to conduct Jaya varusha thirupavithrotsavam in grand manner at Velamur Sundaravaradaraja Lakshmi Narayana Perumal kovil. Thirupavithrotsavam will take place for 3 days from 2nd to 4th November 2014. Everyday Homam will be performed in morning and evening , Perumal purappadu will also take place for 3 days in the evening. The pre event of thirupavithrotsavam like Mruthsangraham, Angurarpanam and Veda Prabhanda Parayanam (Thodakkam) will be conducted on 1st November and the maha poornahuthi will take place on 4th November 2014. All astikas are invited by the Sabha and temple committe to attend the Pavithrotsavam and get the blessings of Divyadampatis.
