On 6 October 2014, Jaya varusha Purattasi Sadhayam; day 3 of Pavithrotsavam was celebrated in grand manner at Sri Adhikesava Perumal Temple, Peyazhwar Devasthanam, Mylapore, Chennai. On the day 3 of pavithrotsavam, Homam was conducted both in morning and evening . Later in the evening, Sri Adhikesava perumal with his consorts followed by Sri Peyazhwar thiruveedhi purappadu took place in the temple streets of Mylapore. Lot of astikas took part in the day 3 of Pavithrotsavam and got the blessings of Sri Mayuravalli Thayar and Sri Adhikesava Perumal.
