On October 8 Jaya Varusha Purattasi Revathi ThiruPavithrotsavam commenced in a grand manner at Thiruneermalai Sri Ranganatha Perumal Temple .On this occasionbeing day-1 in the morning Navakalsa Stapanam ,Kumbha Prathishta,Agni Prathistha after that Homam took place admist arulicheyal and veda ghosti.And in the Thiru Pavithra Samarpanai took place.Several Astikas took part in the ThiruPavithrotsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
