On, October 23, 2014; Jaya Varusha Iypasi Chithirai Ammavasai Purappadu took place in a grand manner at Mylapore SVDD Srinivasa Perumal Temple.On this occasion in the morning Sri Srinivasa Perumal had Thirumanjanam and in the evening Thiruveethi Purappadu took place for Sri Srinivasa Perumal after that asthanam and satrumurai sevakalam took place.On October 22 on the occasion of Deepavali Sri Srinivasa Perumal had Thiruveethi Purappadu .Several Astikas took part in the Deepavali and Ammavasai Purappadu and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
