As Part of the ongoing Swami Manavala Mamunigal Avatara Utsavam at Sri Bhaktavatsala Perumal temple,Thirukannamangai.On, October 27 2014; day 9 of Swami Manavala Mamuni utsavam celebrated in grand manner. In the evening, thiruveedhi purappadu for Swami Manavala Mamunigal took place well in the streets of Thirukannamangai . Several devotees participated in the purappadu and had blessings of the Acharyan and Perumal.
