On December 5, 2014; Jaya Varusha Karthikai karthikai; Thirumangai Azhwar Thirunakshatra Utsavam took place in a grand manner at Sri Ranganatha Perumal Temple,Thiruneermalai, Chennai.. On this occasion, in the morning Thirumanjanam was performed to Thirumangai Azhwar and later Azhwar performed Mangalasasanam to Perumal and Thayar followed by Arulicheyal goshti and Satrumurai . Lot of astikas took part in the Thirumangai Azhwar Thirunakshatra Utsavam and had the blessings of Azhwar and Divyadampatis.
