On, 21 December 2014, Jaya Varusha Margazhi Kettai, Thiruppallandu Thodakkam utsavam was celebrated in very grand manner at Sri Koodal Azhagar Temple, Madurai. On this occasion, Sri Periyaazhwar on Yanai Vahanam and Sri Vyuha SundaraRaja Perumal (from Koodal Azhagar Temple) on Garuda Vahanam purappadu . Then the archaka swami recited Pallandu puranam followed by a grand gosthi. Many devotees took part in the Thiruppallandu Thodakam Utsavam and had the blessings of Periyazhwar and Sri Vyuha Sundararajan.
