On 25 December 2014, Jaya Varusha Margazhi Sravanam;Sravana Purappadu took place in grand manner at Sri Vilakoli Perumal Temple, Thoopul, Thiruthanka Divyadesam, Kanchipuram. As being Swami Desikan Masa Thirunakshatram, Thirumanjanam for Deepaprakasar and Swami Desikan took place in grand manner and asthanam at mandapam. In the evening thiruveethi Purappadu took place for Sri Vilakoli Perumal and Swami Desikan. Lot of astikas took part in the Sravana thirumanjanama and purappadu and had the blessings of Acharyan and Divya Dampathis.
