On, 1st January 2015 ; Jaya Varusha Margazhi Bharani, day 1 of Irappathu of Thiruadhyayana Utsavam was celebrated grandly at Mylapore SVDD Srinivasa Perumal Temple.On this occasion in the evening Sri Srinivasa Perumal had purappadu to paramapada vaasal along with Swami Namazhwar followed by Ul Purappadu and then asthanam sevakalam and satrumurai took place .Many astikas took part in the Irappathu Utsavam and had the blessings of Divyadampatis
