On,6 February 2015, Jaya Varusha Thai Pooram,Being Last Friday of Thai month (Thai Masam Kadasi Vellikizhimai) Thayar purappadu took place at Krupasamudra Perumal Temple,Sirupuliyur. On this occasion, in the morning thirumanjanam for Thayar was performed in grand manner, In the evening Dhaya Nayagi Thayar (Ul) Purappadu took place inside the temple premises. Several astikas took part in the Utsavam and had the blessings of Thayar.
