On 28 February 2015, Jaya Varusha Masi Thiruvadhirai; Sri Devaperumal Theppotsava Purappadu Kandarulal At Thenneri. On this occasion, Perumal with his consorts started their purappadu from Perumal Kovil on 27th Night at 9.30 p.m. In the early morning hours around 3.00 a.m reaches Thenneri Village and gets down at Mandapam.He started his purappadu on streets of Thenneri Village around 3.30 p.m. Then he goes to Jamicheri Village and Mandakappadi Kandarullal followed by mandakappadi at Navattankulam, Thiruvankarannai and reaches Kunnavakkam around 10.30 a.m . Later he get mariyathai from mandakkapadi at Agaram village and get backs to Thenneri mandapam around 5.00 p.m. Around 5.30 p.m Sri Devaperumal Thirumanjanam was conducted in grand manner.Then around 7.00 p.m Sri Devaperumal with his consorts purappadu to Theppam. From Theppam he goes for thiruveedhi purappadu of thenneri and reaches agaram village from there he goes back to Thenneri Mandapam. Finally he starts back his journey around 11.30 p.m from Thenneri to Kanchipuram.The next day early morning around 5.00 a.m Sri Devaperumal with his concerts reaches Kanchipuram Temple. Lot of astikas took part in the purappadu and had the blessings of Divyadampatis .
