In view of the festival of Sri Rama Navami For Sri Azhagiya Singaperumal Temple, the Temple priests performed Snapana Tirumanjanam (Celestial Bath) to Processional Deities of Lord Rama, Seetha, Lakshmana, Anjaneya Swamy .On this important festival day, the processional deities of Lord Sri Rama, Sita Devi, Lakshmana Swamy and Lord Hanuman were taken on a procession in the four mada streets. Later on their return to the temple, the temple priests performs special rituals. The pundits read out “Sri Rama Jananam” in Sri Rama Navami Asthanam, that which takes place . Later on the succeeding day Sri Rama Pattabhishekam will be performed with utmost religious fervour .Lot of astikas took part in the Thirumanjana Utsavam and had the blessings of the Divya Dhampathis.
