On, 16 April, 2015, Manmadha varusha Chitrai Thriyodhasi; was the seventh day of the ongoing Viruppan Tirunal. The seventh day was NamPerumal’s “Kannadi Arai” sevai . Between 7.00a.m. till noon devotees thronged to have a darshan of Sri Namperumal in the mirror room adjacent to Ul Garudazhwar sannidhi. In the evening Purappadu from Kanadi Arai took place at 6.30p.m. It was a delight to see NamPerumal with Ubhaya Nachimars descending the steps .After crossing Nazhiketan vasal The Trio proceeded towards the temple Tirukootaram or granary for” Nel Alavu” Kandarulal. After Nel Alavu the procession came out of Ranga Ranga gopuram and Sri Namperumal in mid of Poonther.The procession took place in Chithirai streets and get back to temple. Then via azhwan Thiruchutru reached Thayar Sannidhi around 9.00 p.m. Tirumanjanam took place at Navarathri mandapam and NamPerumal returned to Kannadi Arai. Lot of astikas participated in day 7 of Viruppan Thirunal and had the blessings of Sri Namperumal.
