8th apr 15 – 4pm – chithirai therilirunthu purapadu kandarulli east vellai gopurathil ahobilia madathu ubayam.
NamPerumal’s Chitra Ther utsavam took place on 18th april 2015 in a grand manner. The chariot round was completed by 9.45 a.m. and was marked by thunderous applause by the devotees. After this NamPerumal proceeded to Chandra Pushkarni for Theerthavari via Vellai(white ) gopuram. At the entrance of Vellai gopuram the representatives of SriAhobila Mutt waited with vethilai-paaku and fruits to offer their ubhayam.
At Chandra pushkarni both NamPerumal and Chinna Perumal were present and Theerthavari took place. After this Chinna Perumal was taken back to sannidhi whereas NamPerumal was taken to Revathi mandapam where Tirumanjanam took place after which NamPerumal went to Kanadi Arai.
