On, 3 May 2015, Manmadha Varusha Chithirai Revathi, Kodai Utsavam (poochatru Utsavam) Concludes in grand manner at SriRanganathaswami temple, SriRangam . In the evening around 6.00p.m. Sri NamPerumal left Moolasthanam in Purappadu. All the flower vendors of SrIRangam were urging people to buy flowers for Perumal.Flowers offered should be preferably knotted on plantain fibre. NamPerumal accepts every inch of flower offered to Him. He is dressed in cool white cotton veshti and saffron applied is visible, the ornaments are barely minimum and Vakula flowers(Mazhiam poo) are twisted to form a crown.Likewise many came last 2 days on 2nd May & 3rd may 2015 as of weekend holiday. Lot of astikas took part in the of Poochatru Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Namperumal.
ஸ்ரீ நம்பெருமாள் சேவார்த்திகள் கொடுக்கும் பூமாலைகள, பூச்சாத்து உற்சவ தினங்கள் தவிர மற்ற நாட்களில் சாற்றிகொள்வதில்லை. பூச்சாத்து உற்சவ தினங்களில் வாசனையுள்ள பூக்கள் மட்டுமே ஏற்கபடுகிறது. சேவார்த்திகள் பெரும்பாலும் மல்லிகை மாலை அதிகமாக கொண்டு சேர்க்கின்றனர். உதிரி புஷ்பங்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதில்லை. முதலில் மெல்லிய வஸ்த்ரம் சாற்றப்பட்டு, மதுரகவி நந்தவனத்து பாதிரி கலந்த கதம்பமாலை சாற்றப்பட்டு, அதன்பின் சேவார்த்திகள் வழங்கிய புஷ்பமாலைகளை நம்பெருமாள் மகிழ்வுடன் சாற்றிகொள்கிறார். வலை பின்னல் போல் வாசனை வண்ணத்துப்பூக்களால் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட துப்பட்டா எனப்படும் போர்வை சாற்றப்படுகிறது. மகிழம்பூக்களால் கோர்க்கபட்ட மாலையை நம்பெருமாள் தன் கிரீடத்தில் தினமும் சூட்டிக்கொள்கிறார். இறுதியில் பன்னீர் தெளிக்கப்பட்டு பின்னர் தோளுக்கினியானில் கம்பீரமாக காட்சி தந்தருள்கிறார்.
