On 17th September 2015, Manmadha Varusha Aavani Swathi, the Day 3 of Swami Desikar Avathara Utsavam was celebrated at Sri Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal Temple, MGR Nagar. On the Occasion, Special Alankaram was performed to the Perumal and the Thayar followed by Pooja. In the evening Swami Desikan and Perumal with his Consorts had Mada veedhi Purappadu. Several astikas took part in the Utsavam. Likewise on 18th September, evening Perumal and Ubhaya Nachiyar gave beautiful dharshan and had Purappadu. Several devotees participated in the purappadu and had the blessings of Divyadampathis.
