As part of ongoing Purattasi brahmotsavam at Oppiliappan Kovil. 20 th september 2015; is the day 5 of Brahmotsavam celebrated in grand manner. On the day 5 Morning Perumal and Thayar in Pallaki and Swamin Desikan in another pallaku Purappadu took place in the temple streets of Oppiliappan Kovil. Likewise in the evening perumal Purappadu on Hanumantha Vahanam purappadu took place at Oppiliappan Kovil . Several Astikas took part in the day 5 of Brahmotsavam and had the blessings of Divya Dampatis.
