As part of ongoing Purattasi brahmotsavam at Oppiliappan Kovil. Day 8 & 9 is celebrated on 23 & 24 September 2015; On the the day 8 evening ,Perumal purappadu in Kudhirai vahanam took place in the temple streets of Oppiliappan kovil. On day 9 purattasi sravanam thirunal, Perumal purappadu on thiruther took place in the morning and theerthavari in the evening. Several Astikas took part in the day 8 & 9 of Brahmotsavam and had the blessings of Divya Dampatis.
