On, September 24 2015, Manmadha Varusha Purattasi Sravanam, Swami Desikan Thirunakshatra Utsavam Commenced in a grand manner at Madipakkam Sri Oppiliappan Pattabhisheka Ramar Temple. On this occasion in the morning Sri Oppilliappan and Bhoomi devi Thayar along with Swami Desikan had Thirumanjanam.And in the evening Thiruveethi Purappadu took place for Sri Oppilliappan and Bhoomi devi Thayar along with Swami Desikan.Several astikas took part in Swami Desikan Thirunakshatra Utsavam Day-1 and had blessings of Divya Dampathis.
