ThiruVelukkai Temple is situated South of ThiruThanka and about ½ km West of Ashtabhujam temple. Lord Narasimha chose to reside at this place to protect the people from evil forces. In this Divya desam, Manmadha Varusha Navarathiri Utsava celebration is grandly going on from 13th October 2015. Being fifth day, Perumal had Vennai Thazhi Thirukkolam along with Ubhaya Nachiyars and Sri Amruthavalli Thayar gave Scintillating dharshan to the devotees in Kannadi Arai. Many devotees participated and had the blessings of Divyadampathis.
