On 22nd October 2015, Manmadha Varusha Navarathiri Utsavam was grandly celebrated at Sri Bhakthavatsala Perumal Temple, Thirukkannamangai Divya desam. On this 9th day of Navarathiri Utsavam, Perumal had Thirumanjanam in the morning at 11am. In the evening, Perumal had Thiruveethi Purappadu in Kudhirai Vahanam and is called as Paari Vettai at 7pm. This marks the conclusion of the ongoing Navarathiri Utsavam which commenced on 13th October 2015. Thiru Kannamangai Bhaktavatsalam Divya Desam is located about 25kms South of Thirucherai Divya Desam on the Kumbakonam-Thiruvarur road between two rivers – OdamPokki in the South and Virutha Cauvery in the North. As Lakshmi’s wedding took place here at Thiru Kannamangai, this place is called Krishna Mangala Kshetram.
